Product Reviews

Hi everyone! Over the past few months I’ve bought new products (thanks quarantine) and now that I’ve had them for a few months, I figured now would be a good time to review them.

Billie Razor: The concept of this razor is awesome – new razor blades are shipped to you for $9 depending on how often you shave. I shave every day, so 4 new blades are sent to me every month. Not only is this a great deal (I get 4 new razor blades for only $9) but I honestly think the blades have helped my leg hair either grow back slower or lighter. The only downside is that the blades are shipped via USPS so there may be some delay in receiving them.

Creamo Shaving Cream: If you’re like me and you don’t like shaving cream, this might be a good alternative for you. According to the bottle, the “impossibly slick formula fights nicks, irritation, and razor burn” and gives you a close, comfortable shave. When I first started using this product, I didn’t think it was anything special. I hadn’t purchased the Billie razor yet and wasn’t changing my razor blade as often as I should have, which probably explains why I didn’t think this cream was worth the money. However, once I began to use the Billie razor and consistently changed the blade every week, I began to like the product. It is a very slick formula that makes shaving much easier. It also doesn’t make my legs dry like traditional shaving cream does. I’ve noticed less irritation since I started using this cream with the Billie razor. A little goes a long way, and a bottle of this will last me about 3 months.

Raw Sugar Shampoo & Conditioner: I began to use the Raw Sugar Moisture Smoothie Coconut + Agave + Sweet Almond Milk Shampoo and Conditioner back in August after I heard some positive things about it from people I know. I had just run out of shampoo, so I figured I would give it a try. What I really like about it is that it’s paraben free, sulfate free, and cruelty free. It is also vegan. I never had any noticeable issues with my previous shampoo, except for maybe my hair feeling a little dry and not as soft. I also don’t have issues with shampoo making my hair greasy. I will say that since I switched to Raw Sugar I’ve noticed my hair has felt softer and perhaps not as dry. Other than that, I haven’t really noticed a major difference in my hair.

Soap and Glory Flake Away Body Polish: This body scrub, in combination with the CeraVe SA Cream, has changed the skin on my arms. I use this scrub 2-3 times a week. I definitely think it helps remove any dry skin which helps the CeraVe Cream moisturize my skin. It also smells really good!

CeraVe SA Cream for Rough and Bumpy Skin: This cream is my holy grail. I’ve always suffered from dry, bumpy arms, especially in the winter. I bought this a few months ago after falling down a rabbit hole on Google after searching something along the lines of “lotion to help dry skin.” CeraVe is a brand I’m familiar with, it is developed with dermatologists, and I can find it at Target. All positives in my mind. This cream is the only thing that has helped the skin on my arms. It did take a few weeks to notice a difference, but now my arms are completely smooth and soft. I use it once a day.

Living Proof Dry Shampoo: I LOVE LOVE LOVE this dry shampoo! I discovered it after an influencer I follow on Instagram talked about it in her stories one day. I swear it is the only dry shampoo that actually feels like it’s cleaning your hair. I’ve used other dry shampoos in the past (recently too when I ran out of Living Proof and was waiting for it to get delivered) and I felt like my hair was greasy only a few hours after using it. I can’t go very long between washes – the longest I can go is really only 2-3 days, but this dry shampoo definitely helps my hair look clean between washes. It also smells AMAZING.

Try some of these products and let me know what you think!
